I caught a glimpse at a screening of Hostel 2 yesterday and I went into this film with the thought that this is gonna rock the other film out of the water….its a shame I was really wrong. The First one was awesome I mean the torture was sick the girls were hot and the blood was flowing but this one lacked something and I don’t blame Eli Roth because his mind is twisted and thats a requirement for horror movies but this one lacked everything the first one did i.e the blood and the gore. So the plot well it picks up where we left off to be honest where Paxton (Jay Hernandez) has gone home after the trauma and ordeal he went through at the Hostel in the first movie but he keeps having these dreams that the Hunting Elite find him and kill him well needless to say….

Well as I said he realises his dream is a reality when he goes down for breakfast he loses his head to the gardener and his girlfriend finds him…well that is when I wanted to turn off to be honest because I wanted him to go back to the Hostel and go homicidal with a machete or something and kill everyone..but it doesn’t happen what we do see if a whole new cast all women (Lauren German, Bijou Phillips and Heather Matarazzo) and we see how they enjoy themselves in the town but of course head hunted and bidded on by the evil sadistic business men….I don’t want to give anymore away because thats pointless but needless to say I would of wanted to wait for DVD because it wasn’t as good as it was made out to be…but I think I am alone here with Hurmoth because everyone else is giving it 8/10 5/5 and so on its mad does that mean tho there will be a third…probably but Roth won’t be doing it…he’s doing Cell.
